Weston Finance Committee unanimously advances $2.3 million OPEB appropriation, endorses four warrant articles. The committee, led by Chair Bharath Venkataraman, reviewed the FY2027 budget with updated health insurance estimates presented by Assistant Town Manager Lisa Yanakakis and Finance Director Susan Kelley. The panel unanimously approved Article 3, appropriating $2,326,346 to the OPEB Trust Fund, and endorsed Articles 16, 20, and 24 by votes ranging from 6-0 to 7-0.
Town Manager Leon Gaumond committed to returning with a recommendation on creating a stabilization fund to finance capital projects.
