The Weston Finance Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of $300,000 in Community Preservation Act funding for Phase 1 of a Town Green tree rehabilitation project, aimed at replacing older trees with younger specimens, and $48,000 for the Regional Housing Service Office. In related action, the Committee voted 4-4 to defeat a proposal to table three Recreation Commission projects—Burchard Park Playground Design ($50,000), Field 1 Lighting ($400,000), and Dog Park ($68,000)—pending Recreation Commission prioritization and funding plans, leaving those requests under consideration.
