CPC Approves Six Projects Totaling $1.8 Million for Town Meeting

Weston CPC approves $1.8 million in projects for annual town meeting. The Community Preservation Committee, chaired by Glenn Butcher, unanimously backed six initiatives: a dog park feasibility study ($18,000), town green rehabilitation phase 1 ($300,000), high school field lighting ($400,000), Burchard Park playground design ($50,000), Brook School elderly housing renovations ($1 million), and regional housing services support ($48,000). Funding will come from free cash with no borrowing required.
The committee tabled a $4,000 native tree canopy proposal pending presentation by the applicant.
