Conservation Commission issues full certificate of compliance for 71 Concord Road

WESTON -- October 8, 2024, Weston Conservation Commission closes out 71 Concord Road after four-year permit cycle. Members voted unanimously Tuesday to issue a full certificate of compliance under DEP file 337-1381, ending the order of conditions covering a relocated garage, an after-the-fact septic system and a driveway converted from asphalt to gravel. Conservation Administrator Jordan said Oxbow Associates' Ron Strow filed the final restoration monitoring report Oct. 1 and a Sept. 25 site visit found the 25-foot no-disturb zone "fully stable," with supplemental highbush blueberry plantings establishing well. The commission also continued a 55 Spring Road hearing to Oct. 22 and heard a report from members Ellen Freeman Roth and Alison Fronk Barlow on a daylong Route 30 shared-use path bus tour, where Roth said the design team is "approaching this extremely thoughtfully" at the project's 25 percent design stage.
