WESTON — The Permanent Building Committee unanimously approved a $5,090 invoice from LLB for construction administration services and declined authorization for a second invoice while receiving project updates. Committee chair James N. Polando updated the board on the Fire Department Project, reporting that MEP systems and geothermal options were presented August 26, with plans to brief the Select Board.
Multiple capital projects are advancing: Brook School Apartments has begun foundation preparation with LLB re-engaged as owner's project manager, pending asbestos-testing change orders and egress finalization; high school field lighting is ready to ship; memorial pool revisions are due by November 1. The Woods Restaurant project has not yet filed a building permit application.
