Historical Commission · Meeting of April 7, 2026
Weston Historical Commission imposed a 12-month demolition delay on 669 Boston Post Road. The vote gives owners Barbara and William Rowe time to explore preservation restrictions for the circa 1891 Italianate and Queen Anne house and barn. The Commission found significant the ensemble at 170 Winter Street, a circa 1865 house, barn, and garage, and scheduled a May 5 public hearing on the owners' proposed 24-by-24-foot garage addition.
The Commission also approved relocating town-owned artifacts from St. Julia's to the Golden Ball Tavern Barn Sale.
